【Project Background】Nasr Chemicals Intermediate Company (NCIC) is an important fertilizer producer in Egypt, located in the Ain Sokhna Industrial Zone, Suez Province. The third-phase expansion aims to significantly increase fertilizer production capacity, support domestic agricultural development, and expand exports.

【Role of Chinese Enterprises】China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. and Egypt's leading engineering contractor PETROJET formed a joint venture, officially signing the contract in March 2024 to undertake the EPC general contracting of the NCIC Phase III fertilizer project, with a contract value exceeding 1 billion euros.

【Scope of Services】L4 EPC general contracting, using natural gas and phosphate rock as raw materials to produce high-efficiency fertilizers such as synthetic ammonia, urea, and ammonium phosphate, covering the entire process from design, procurement, construction to commissioning.
