This technology is aimed at developing a pulse electrochemical-mass spectrometry (EC-MS) combined analysis system for commercial batteries. It uses pulse electrochemical excitation to simulate dynamic loads under actual battery operating conditions, and combines high-sensitivity mass spectrometry to detect electrolyte gas generation and volatile intermediates in real time, achieving millisecond-level in-situ analysis. This provides direct experimental evidence for key issues such as electrolyte decomposition, gas generation failure, SEI evolution, and fast lithium extraction. The technology is suitable for research and development diagnosis, failure analysis, incoming material evaluation, and safety warning system construction in power batteries, consumer batteries, and energy storage batteries. A pilot installation has been completed and the feasibility and engineering suitability of the method have been verified.
