Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. signed the EPC contract for the Ain Sukhna Phosphate Fertilizer Project in Egypt with Indian and Egyptian enterprises. Located in the Ain Sukhna Industrial Zone, 120 kilometers from Cairo, the project was signed in October 2025 and represents a significant strategic move by a Chinese chemical enterprise in the Egyptian phosphate fertilizer sector.

Lanshi Heavy Equipment designed and manufactured 11 petrochemical units for the 8 million tons/year refining project of the China National Petroleum Corporation in Kyrgyzstan, including core equipment such as hydroprocessing reactors. The completion and shipment are scheduled for January 2026, marking a case study in equipment supply supporting the landmark Belt and Road Initiative project jointly built by China and Kyrgyzstan.

China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. has won the bid for two EPC general contracting sections of the Indian Talcher Fertilizer Project: the coal gasification purification section and the synthetic ammonia urea section. The cumulative total contract value is approximately 80 billion yuan, making it the world's largest coal-to-fertilizer project to date. This marks the first large-scale export of China's coal chemical technology to India.

Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company has won the Front-End Engineering Design (BFS & FEED) contract for the Kazakhstan Sulfur-Phosphorus Chemical Complex Project. The contract will be signed in September 2025, marking the company's first FEED project in the Kazakhstan market. This will facilitate the implementation of Sinopec's independently developed sulfur-phosphorus chemical technology in Central Asia.

Sinochem Tianchen Company undertook the Kazan Natural Soda Ash Project of the Turkish Kinar Group via EPC+F turnkey contracting, with a construction scale of 2.5 million tons/year of natural soda ash and 200,000 tons/year of baking soda. The project received its final acceptance certificate in March 2021. It is one of the world's largest natural soda ash plants and features world-first process technology.

China Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd. (CC7) undertook the EPC contract for the 800,000-ton-per-year polyethylene plant of the ZapSib-2 project by SIBUR in Russia, with a contract value of $442.5 million. Construction commenced in July 2016, and upon completion, the facility became a core unit of a world-class large-scale polyolefin complex.

China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. served as the EPC general contractor for the Ca Mau Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea. The project was bid in 2008 and completed and put into operation in 2012. It was widely reported by the media during General Secretary Xi Jinping's state visit to Vietnam, and has cumulatively produced over 10 million tons of urea.

China National Chemical Chengda Company undertook the EPC turnkey project for Chandra Asri Chemical Company's CAA-1 facility in Indonesia, with an annual production capacity of 420,000 tons of caustic soda and 500,000 tons of ethylene dichloride (EDC). The contract was signed in March 2024, and construction officially commenced in July 2025. Upon completion, it will become the world's largest single-line caustic soda plant and the largest EDC facility in Southeast Asia.

Sinopec Luoyang Engineering, representing the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group, formed a consortium with Spain's TR and Korea's Hanwha Engineering to complete the EPC turnkey contract for 15 production units at the Azur Refinery—the largest refinery in the Middle East region of Kuwait—as well as the construction of key units such as diesel hydrotreating. Construction began in 2015, and the facility went into full production in December 2023.

China Wuhang Engineering and Egypt's PETROJET Company have jointly undertaken the EPC general contracting for the third-phase fertilizer project of Egypt's Nasser Intermediates and Chemicals Company (NCIC), with a contract value exceeding 1 billion euros. Signed in March 2024, this project is one of the largest overseas contracts ever signed by China Wuhang Engineering in terms of contract value.

China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. EPC general contracting for the Zambia United Capital Fertilizer Company Limited (UCFCL) 300,000 tons/year fertilizer project is the first EPC general contracting fertilizer project undertaken by a Chinese engineering company in sub-Saharan Africa, and also the first modern fertilizer plant in southeastern Africa.

Donghua Engineering Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and the joint venture with China Chemical Engineering Corporation Middle East Company were awarded the contract for the ADNOC Ruwais Industrial Center ESPC 600,000 tons/year methanol project EPCC总承包 in September 2020. The contract value was US$394 million, marking a significant milestone for Donghua Engineering's entry into the ADNOC system.

China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd. undertook Qatar's first PVC project, invested by QatarEnergy, as the EPCC general contractor for a 350,000-ton-per-year PVC plant. Construction commenced in April 2022, achieving a milestone of 5 million safe man-hours during the construction period, marking a historic breakthrough in Qatar's chlor-alkali industry.

China National Chemical Engineering No.7 Construction Co., Ltd. (CC7) has secured an EPC contract worth USD 1.99 billion for the global top three PVC complexes in the TA'ZIZ Industrial Zone in the United Arab Emirates. The project, with an annual production capacity of 1.9 million tons of PVC and related products, is scheduled for completion in Q4 2028.

The China Chemical Engineering Corporation's EPC general contracting of Kazakhstan's largest chemical project - the Petrochemical Integration (IPCI) project - was completed and put into operation in November 2022. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the ceremony. This project is a key engineering project of China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation, filling the gap in polyolefin production in Kazakhstan.
