Process for Preparing Calcium Chloride from Ammonia-Soda Filter Mother Liquor (Invention Patent)

The filtered mother liquor from the Solvay process for soda ash production contains a large amount of calcium chloride, which is traditionally discharged as waste liquid. This patented technology efficiently extracts calcium chloride solution from the filtered mother liquor through a specific process, addressing the environmental pressure of waste liquid treatment while achieving resource utilization of by-products. Distillation is one of the most energy-intensive processes in soda ash production. Based on multiple proprietary technologies (vacuum distillation, sieve tray ammonia distillation tower, etc.), we provide process upgrade and retrofitting services for distillation systems in existing soda ash plants. Requirements for Powder High-Temperature Sintering
Project Requirements: High-temperature calcination of powdered raw materials with a total weight of 200kg. The process conditions involve constant-temperature calcination at 840°C for 2 hours. The sintering process can be completed in batches, ultimately producing calcined coal gangue as the final product. Soda Ash Waste Liquid/Residue Comprehensive Treatment and Renovation
The Solvay process for soda ash production generates approximately 10 cubic meters of distillation waste liquid per ton of soda ash, making waste liquid treatment a common industry challenge. Leveraging multiple proprietary technologies (such as waste slurry cavity injection, waste slurry mixing, and comprehensive waste liquid treatment), we provide technical retrofit services for the integrated management of waste liquids and sludge to existing Solvay process soda ash enterprises.

We have completed waste liquid treatment retrofit projects of various scales domestically, including large-scale Solvay distillation waste liquid treatment projects with a capacity of one million tons. Depending on the owner's geological conditions, site constraints, and environmental requirements, we offer various technical solutions, including underground cavity injection, solid-liquid separation, and by-product recovery.

Sodium Bicarbonate Carbonization Tower and Production Technology
Producing food-grade or industrial-grade baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) from soda ash mother liquor or refined sodium carbonate solution via a carbonation crystallization process. We hold a utility model patent for a "Carbonation Tower without a Cooling Section for Baking Soda Production." The optimized structural design of this tower improves gas-liquid contact efficiency and crystallization conditions, enhancing the particle size uniformity and yield of the baking soda product.

We have completed engineering designs for multiple baking soda projects domestically, with individual capacities ranging from 30,000 to 200,000 tons per year. Recently, we also participated in the design of a new project integrating CO₂ capture with baking soda co-production. Deliverables include the baking soda process package and data sheets for key equipment.
