The Chinese chemical engineering industry has undergone decades of rapid development, accumulating profound strength in process technology, engineering design, equipment manufacturing, and construction management. However, when these capabilities attempt to enter the international market, they face an invisible barrier——information asymmetry, difficulty in establishing trust, challenges in organizing resources, and high communication costs. On one hand, countries along the "Belt and Road" have a strong demand for chemical project construction; on the other hand, a large number of excellent Chinese technology providers, design institutes, equipment manufacturers, and engineering service enterprises lack a systematic and professional international platform for display and docking.

The Silk Road International Chemical Engineering Service Platform was born precisely to break this deadlock.

We are not a simple information release website, but a professional service organization platform built around the entire process of international chemical engineering cooperation. What we do is to organize the scattered technology, design, equipment, construction, on-site service, and professional talent resources in the Chinese chemical field in a digital manner, forming a complete service entry point for international clients that is "understandable, findable, trustworthy, and usable".“看得懂、找得到、信得过、用得上”的完整服务入口。

Initiated and operated by the Hong Kong Silk Road Chemical Research Institute, the platform relies on core technology and design forces that have cultivated in the chemical engineering field for over sixty years. It has formed a supplier system covering more than 1,700 enterprises and institutions, with business scope involving fine chemicals, coal chemical, petrochemical, phosphate chemical, new materials, hydrogen energy, and other sub-sectors. Its service footprint spans dozens of countries and regions including Russia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Iran, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Our Outlook

In 2026, taking the platform launch as a starting point, we will steadily advance in three phases around the five core capabilities of "acquirable, filterable, matchable, accumulable, and replicable": completing the platform cold start and content enrichment in the first half of the year, promoting international business opportunity conversion and brand building in the second half, and forming a sustainable closed-loop operation system by the end of the year.

We plan to establish overseas collaboration nodes first in key countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan, and gradually expand to broader markets including India, Iran, and Uzbekistan. We will also continuously expand the platform's influence through participation in international chemical exhibitions, technology roadshows, industry white paper releases, and school-enterprise cooperation, building an international chemical engineering cooperation ecosystem centered on the platform.
